About the artist

I'm Diego "Robot" Martinez — visual artist born and raised on the El Paso / Juarez border.

Inspired by traditional Mexican culture, bright colors, graffiti, pop art, cubism, and religious icons.

The Robot is me. A self-reflection of my life, my views, my struggles — and the joy I see through my daughter's innocence.

I use geometric rhythms to turn random thoughts and emotions into metaphors. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, made in El Paso.
